Spirax Sarco FIG33 Filter Introduction
FIG33 Y Type Filter, made of cast iron, flange connection. Standard stainless steel filter mesh, DN15 to DN80 has a 0.8mm aperture, and DN100 to DN200 has a 1.6mm aperture. Other apertures and materials, as well as alloy filter meshes, are also available. Depending on the needs, threaded connections for drainage or discharge valves can be drilled on the filter valve cap.
Spirax Sarco Y Type Filter
The Spirax Sarco UK FIG33 filter is used to protect all devices from blockages and damage caused by impurities, rust, and welding slag in the pipeline. This reduces maintenance costs and production losses.
The filter can be installed in steam pipelines, oil lines, water pipes, and compressed air system pipelines, protecting various measuring instruments, pumps, pressure reducing valves, temperature control valves, steam traps, and other equipment.
Spirax Sarco Filters
The UK Spirax Sarco FIG33 filter has a complete range, available in various materials including cast iron, ductile iron, cast steel, and stainless steel, with diameters ranging from 15mm to 250mm, and multiple connection specifications to meet different industrial applications.

Filter Mesh
The UK Spirax Sarco FIG33 filter has a complete range of filter mesh specifications, with apertures ranging from 1/64' to 3/16''r or 40 mesh to 200 mesh. Additionally, depending on the material, filter mesh materials include brass, stainless steel, Monel high-strength corrosion-resistant nickel-copper alloy, etc. Note: Do not install a filter mesh that is finer than necessary; it is recommended that 200 mesh filter mesh is only used in gas or air pipelines.
Installation
To prevent the accumulation of condensate in the filter, which could cause water hammer and restrict the filtration area, filters with nominal diameters greater than 1'(DN25) should be installed horizontally in the steam main.
When ordering, please fill out the "Specifications" or indicate the following:
1. If the model has not been selected prior to ordering, please provide us with the operating parameters: 1. Nominal diameter, 2. Fluid properties (including nominal pressure, temperature, viscosity, or acidity/alkalinity), 3. Valve body and core materials.
2. If the product model has been selected by the design unit, please order directly from our business department according to the model;
3. When the application is very important or the pipeline is complex, please provide design drawings and detailed parameters for our experts to review.
