Spirax Sarco 25P Pilot-Operated Pressure Reducing Valve Structure
The Spirax Sarco pressure reducing valve is a pilot piston-type valve. It consists of two parts: the main valve and the pilot valve. The main valve mainly comprises components such as the valve seat, main valve disc, piston, and spring. The pilot valve mainly consists of components such as the valve seat, valve disc, diaphragm, spring, and adjustment spring. By adjusting the pressure of the adjustment spring, the outlet pressure is set, and the diaphragm senses changes in outlet pressure. The pilot valve opens and closes to drive the piston, adjusting the flow area of the main valve's throttling section to achieve pressure reduction and stabilization.
Application of Spirax Sarco Pressure Reducing Valves
Spirax Sarco pressure reducing valves regulate the flow of the medium by controlling the opening of the valve body’s closure element, reducing the pressure of the medium, while also adjusting the opening of the closure element based on the downstream pressure to maintain it within a certain range. Additionally, cold water can be injected into the valve body or downstream to lower the temperature of the medium, resulting in valves known as pressure reducing and temperature reducing valves. These valves are characterized by maintaining the outlet pressure and temperature within a specific range even when the inlet pressure varies continuously.
