Introduction of Wrapped O-Ring:
(Full name: Panpu wrapped seal ring, also known as wrapped O-Ring, wrapped fluorine O-ring) combines the elasticity and sealing performance of rubber with the chemical resistance of PTFE organically. It is composed of a core made of silicone or fluoroelastomer and a relatively thin outer cover made of FEP or PFA. Panpu seal has excellent sealing performance. Rubber O-rings are prone to wear, poor chemical corrosion resistance, and poor gas permeability. Pure PTFE O-rings have high hardness and compression resistance but poor elasticity. The outer FEP/PFA O-rings have good resistance to swelling and chemical stability (unless eroded by alkali metals, fluorine, and some halides at high temperatures) and have good elasticity near the rubber O-rings. The friction coefficient of FEP/PFA is very small (only 0.1~0.2), and it has excellent gas permeability resistance. These properties allow Panpu seal O-rings to be truly applied in harsh environments.
Product Features:
- Outstanding chemical resistance, suitable for almost all chemical media (strong oxidizing and reducing solvents).
- Excellent corrosion resistance (strong acid, alkali solvents).
- Wide temperature range -200℃~260℃
- Good compression resistance ≥30%
- Friction resistance (very small friction coefficient of only 0.1~0.2).

Material Introduction:
1. FEP and PFA are essentially similar in nature, but PFA has better high temperature resistance than FEP
Temperature range:
FEP shell: -60℃~205℃ can be used for a short time at 260℃ high temperature
PFA shell: -60℃~260℃ can be used for a short time at 300℃ high temperature
2. Our company specifies the standard core material for Panpu seals as:
Fluoroelastomer E-60C grade
Silicone rubber ZZR 765B grade
Solid Panpu seals are widely used in static and dynamic seals. Hollow silicone rubber Panpu seals generally have a larger wire diameter and are used in static seals. They have lower hardness and compression resistance than solid core Panpu seals.
Hardness:
The average hardness of Panpu seals with different materials is:
Solid silicone rubber: 85-90
Solid fluoroelastomer: 90-95
Hollow silicone rubber: 75-80
Product Model:
The brand series "Panpu seal" produced by our company is divided into three series according to the product structure and usage conditions.
>>FEP coated (cross-section can be O-shaped, square, polygonal design)
