Concrete sealing and curing agent, also known as concrete floor hardener, is a compound that can penetrate into concrete and react with semi-hydrated cement, free calcium, silica, and other substances contained in hardened concrete through a series of complex chemical reactions, producing hard substances. These compounds will ultimately increase the density of the concrete surface, thereby improving the strength, hardness, abrasion resistance, and impermeability of the concrete surface.
Applicable scope:
Used for indoor and outdoor diamond abrasion-resistant floors, terrazzo floors, original slurry gloss floors, super flat floors, ordinary cement floors, stone surfaces with sanding, flaking, dusting, low strength, and poor abrasion resistance. Suitable for cement-based locations such as factory workshops, warehouses, shopping malls, supermarkets, docks, airport runways, bridges, and highways.
How does it work?
The final products of complex chemical reactions will block and seal the structural pores of concrete, the increase in strength leads to an increase in surface hardness, and the increase in density leads to an increase in impermeability. By reducing the flow path of water, harmful substances are reduced from entering, thereby greatly enhancing the ability of concrete to resist chemical erosion. Therefore, concrete surface sealing and curing agents can bring long-lasting sealed, solid, abrasion-resistant, dust-free concrete surfaces.
Characteristics of concrete sealing and curing agents:
Long-lasting seal, solid, abrasion-resistant, dust-free;
Longer commitment: one treatment, permanent solution;
Gradually produces gloss during long-term use;
Product storage:
1. The product should be stored sealed to prevent moisture absorption and deterioration.
2. The product is non-hazardous and can be disposed of as general items.
3. The product should be stored in a ventilated, dry, and cool place.
The ratio of this product can reach 1:4
Service life: 20 years.
Construction process:
Polishing and cleaning the floor: Thoroughly polish the floor with 50-300 grit grinding discs until it feels smooth
Spraying sealing and curing agent: Coat the surface with 1-3 layers of DM-01 enhanced sealing and curing agent (1:2 water) according to the base surface condition until the material is saturated
Initial polishing: After curing (3-6h), when the floor is completely dry, polish it with 500-800 grit grinding discs 1-2 times
Spraying sealing and curing agent: Use a sprayer to evenly apply DM-01 enhanced sealing and curing agent to the floor, let it react for about 10-30 minutes, rinse the floor with clean water, and use a floor scrubber to clean the surface crystals (not rinsing the floor with water will result in white crystal formation)
Fine polishing: Use 1000-3000 grit grinding discs for fine polishing, 1-2 times
If there are places with extremely high brightness requirements, use a sprayer to spray DM-01 crystal surface agent, let the floor react for 10-30 minutes, and polish with resin grinding discs to avoid over-polishing
If waxing is needed, apply the selected floor wax to the floor surface, do not over-apply. After drying for about 1-3 hours, use a polishing machine for polishing to achieve the desired brightness, avoiding over-polishing.
