PTFE Packing
The PTFE packing is made of pure polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) fibers, untreated with PTFE emulsions or lubricating greases. Due to its solid braided structure, it possesses flexibility and adjustability, allowing for excellent compatibility with shafts and packing boxes, along with outstanding corrosion resistance, good self-lubricating properties, and anti-adhesion characteristics. It can be used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking, chemical fiber, fine chemical, and other operations where contamination is not allowed.
The braided (impregnated) PTFE packing is made from F4 raw tape that has been braided (impregnated) and shaped, exhibiting good chemical stability, excellent self-lubricating properties, unchanged strength in high temperature and humid environments, and easy installation and removal.

Types
[1] PTFE packings can be divided into aramid interwoven black PTFE packing, white PTFE packing, aramid corner-wrapped black PTFE packing, oil-containing black PTFE packing, oil-free black PTFE packing, cut thread PTFE packing, and oil-containing white PTFE packing.
First: Aramid interwoven black PTFE packing is made from aramid fibers and black PTFE as raw materials, mixed and woven using a special process. The high-strength aramid material is interwoven within the packing, making the product more wear-resistant. It combines the excellent properties of aramid fibers and black PTFE fibers, making it suitable for dynamic sealing under higher line speeds and higher medium pressures. It can be used in industries such as chemicals, agricultural chemicals, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, sugar, papermaking, and electricity, and in equipment like reciprocating pumps, mixers, stirrers, reactors, and valves. It is suitable for water, wastewater, oil, grease, weak acid and weak alkaline solutions, acid and alkaline solutions, and grinding media.
Second: White PTFE packing is made from pure polytetrafluoroethylene fibers. It can be used in chemical, food, pharmaceutical, papermaking, chemical fiber, fine chemical industries, and other operations where contamination is not allowed, suitable for all chemical media except soluble alkali metals and free fluoride ions.
Third: Oil-containing black PTFE packing is made from PTFE yarn containing graphite and anti-corrosion lubricants. It has a strong tear strength and high thermal conductivity, with a low friction coefficient that provides stability and long service life. It can be used in mechanical seals for industries such as food, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, chemical fiber, and fine chemicals, as well as in mixers, blenders, heat exchangers, and centrifugal pumps sealing water, steam, solvents, and other media. It is suitable for the vast majority of media except highly oxidizing media.
Fourth: Oil-free black PTFE packing is made from PTFE yarn containing graphite particles.
Fifth: Cut thread PTFE packing is made from sintered and fully stretched multi-strand PTFE yarn, fully impregnated within PTFE, and re-impregnated during the braiding process. It possesses flexible characteristics, dimensional stability, good compression resistance, anti-extrusion, and high structural strength and density. It is one of the well-performing packings in industrial applications. It is a general-purpose packing suitable for food, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, chemical fiber, and other industries, especially in high-pressure valves, plunger pumps, mixers, and devices with high peripheral speed such as shafts, rods, pistons, valves, and expansion joints. It is suitable for all chemical media except soluble alkali metals and free fluoride ions.
Sixth: Oil-containing white PTFE packing is made from pure PTFE yarn and treated with a special lubricant silicone oil, which maintains its volume over long-term use under low pressure in the packing box. Its low friction coefficient prevents heating even on rotating shafts at high peripheral speeds. It is suitable for highly concentrated and strongly corrosive and oxidative chemical products in corrosion-resistant media for mechanical seals. It can be used in the food industry, pharmaceuticals, papermaking, chemical fiber, and fine chemicals where contamination is not allowed for pumps, valves, and flange equipment.
