Application of polyurethane rubber wheels in manufacturing enterprises: 1. The physical and mechanical performance indicators can be flexibly adjusted by selecting raw materials and modifying formulations, allowing polyurethane rubber wheels to meet unique user requirements for product performance within a certain range. For example, hardness is often an important indicator for users; polyurethane elastomers can be made into soft printing rollers with a Shore A hardness of around 20 or hard steel rollers with a Shore D hardness of over 70, which is difficult for general elastomer materials to achieve, thus catering to different user needs. Polyurethane elastomers are polar polymers composed of many flexible and rigid segments. As the proportion of rigid segments and the density of polar groups increase, the original strength and hardness of the elastomer will also increase accordingly. 2. Excellent wear resistance. Under working conditions with wetting media such as water and oil, the wear resistance of polyurethane rubber wheels is often several times to dozens of times that of ordinary rubber materials. Although metal materials like steel are very hard, they are not necessarily wear-resistant; other applications include rubber rollers for rice milling machines, vibrating screen plates for coal selection, athletic tracks, dynamic oil seals for cranes and shovels, elevator wheels, and roller skates, all of which are also the domain of polyurethane elastomers. 3. Diverse processing methods and wide applicability. Polyurethane rubber wheel elastomers can be processed using the same methods as general rubber, such as plasticizing, mixing, and vulcanization; they can also be made into liquid rubber, cast and molded, sprayed, filled, or formed by centrifugal casting (referring to CPU); they can even be made into granules and formed by injection, extrusion, calendering, and blow molding like ordinary plastics (referring to CPU). Parts made by compression or injection molding can also undergo mechanical processing such as cutting, grinding, and drilling within a certain hardness range. The diversity of processing methods makes polyurethane elastomers widely applicable, with continuously expanding application fields. 4. Oil resistance, ozone resistance, aging resistance, radiation resistance, low-temperature resistance, good sound permeability, strong adhesion, excellent biocompatibility, and blood compatibility. These advantages are precisely why polyurethane rubber wheel elastomers are widely used in military, aerospace, acoustics, biology, and other fields.
