Advanced plastic colorants belong to the category of oil-soluble dyes and can dissolve in organic solvents. They can be used as single colors or mixed in certain proportions to create various shades as needed. They are applicable for dyeing the following types of plastics:
When these dyes are dissolved in plastic melts, they distribute in a molecular state. For coloring various plastics, a certain proportion can be directly added to the plastic and uniformly mixed for pre-plasticizing or molding. The concentration of the hue can be adjusted according to needs. In transparent resins, vibrant transparent hues can be achieved. When used with an appropriate amount of titanium dioxide and dyes, semi-transparent or opaque hues can be obtained. The dosage can be determined based on requirements; typically, 0.02%-0.05% for transparent hues and around 0.1% for opaque hues.
