Although epoxy flooring has robust performance and long service life, epoxy flooring paint is a high-value, high-quality, and high-demand product. Nevertheless, proper epoxy flooring maintenance is essential, and accurate usage methods can keep the surface looking new and extend its service life. The specific recommendations are as follows:
1. After the epoxy flooring construction is completed, it should be protected for 7-10 days before being put into use. During the protection period, avoid letting water or other solutions wet the surface.
2. All employees entering the workshop must change to rubber-soled shoes (foam-soled black shoes are not allowed) to prevent bringing in dirt and sand from outside that could scratch the floor.
3. For all hardware items, such as iron chairs, iron tables, and iron shelves, the legs must be wrapped with soft plastic or rubber, or padded with cardboard to prevent scratching the floor during use.
4. When moving tractors, ensure that the machine plate is lifted off the ground, and be especially careful when turning to avoid scraping the floor with the corners of the machine plate.
5. When cleaning the floor, use a soft, absorbent mop or a wet/dry vacuum. You can use clean water or a detergent for cleaning, but please be aware that the floor may become slippery.
6. If there is wear or scratches due to long-term use, small areas can be repaired, but for larger areas, it is recommended to reapply a coat.
7. Before equipment is brought into the factory, lay down hard cardboard on the epoxy flooring to prevent scratches during the transportation of the equipment.
8. For carts and trolleys, please use hard or elastic rubber wheels, and keep them separate for indoor and outdoor use.
9. Waxing treatment can be done according to the floor requirements (this helps prevent scratches on the floor).
