Epoxy Floor Coating has properties such as strong acid and alkali resistance, wear resistance, pressure resistance, impact resistance, mold resistance, waterproof, dustproof, anti-slip, as well as anti-static and electromagnetic wave resistance. It comes in bright and diverse colors and is easy to clean. It is widely used in electronic factories, machinery manufacturing plants, hardware factories, pharmaceutical factories, automobile factories, hospitals, aerospace bases, laboratories, offices, markets, paper mills, chemical plants, plastic processing plants, textile factories, tobacco factories, candy factories, breweries, beverage factories, meat processing plants, parking lots, and other surface coatings.
Epoxy Floor should be maintained and cleaned after completion to ensure a tidy workshop environment and truly achieve a clean production environment. At the same time, daily floor maintenance should be included in the daily management system, which helps to extend the lifespan of the floor, reduce the renovation rate, and ensure smooth production. The maintenance of the epoxy floor is as important as the maintenance of equipment. The following are some main points for floor maintenance:
1. If there are hard sand particles or mud on the floor, they should be cleaned promptly to avoid grinding the floor and reduce wear.
2. When forklifts or loaders are unloading, ensure that the goods are placed flat to avoid tipping or dragging, which may scratch the floor.
3. Areas prone to contamination, especially noticeable entrance areas, should be cleaned daily with wide mops 1-2 times.
4. In cases where construction is happening while production is ongoing, ensure there is a sufficient isolation area to prevent dust and sand from penetrating the uncured epoxy floor coating.
5. Try to avoid braking when vehicles, forklifts, or loaders are in motion.
6. If there is significant damage to the coating, report it promptly for repair to prevent oil from seeping into the base before repairs are made. When washing the floor with water, avoid allowing oil-water mixtures to accumulate in deep damaged areas.
7. Regularly clean areas that frequently leak oil with sawdust to prevent oil from degrading and adhering to dust layers, becoming stubborn stains. For large areas soaked in oil, use wide mops to push sawdust to absorb the oil from the floor.
8. Employees should change into soft-soled shoes before entering clean areas; at entry and exit points where sand and mud may be brought in, set up plastic mats to help employees remove debris from their shoe soles.
