Polytetrafluoroethylene filled Dui Wei Ju powder (PPL) product introduction:
I. The research, production and application dynamics of "Dui Wei Ju" internationally.
"Ju" was first synthesized in the laboratory by KOVIC in the United States in 1963.
Subsequently, research work has been carried out in the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, Japan, Poland, Canada, France, West Germany, Israel and other countries, and it has been officially applied in industrial production.
II. The Research Institute of the Ministry of Chemical Industry of China was commissioned by the Second Ministry of Machinery to conduct research and production.
In the past few years, it has been proven through practical applications in various industries across the country that its performance is much better than that of polytetrafluoroethylene products, with an increased service life of 3-4 times. It is an ideal wear-resistant and sealing material in industries such as metallurgy, chemical industry, fertilizer, printing and dyeing, machinery, papermaking, textiles, and light industry.
Up to now, the "Dui Wei Ju engineering plastic" produced by our factory is the first of its kind in China.
III. Performance introduction of "Dui Wei Ju engineering plastic".
(1) Dui Wei Ju, also known as polypropylene, is a polymer linked by rings.
Dui Wei Ju has good high temperature resistance and can be used in rocket engine parts and aviation;
Dui Wei Ju has good heat stability and can be used to make high temperature bearing materials;
Dui Wei Ju has good corrosion resistance and can be used as bearings and chemical equipment in corrosive environments and harsh working conditions;
The self-lubricating properties of Dui Wei Ju are better than molybdenum disulfide and graphite, and can be used to make oil-free lubricating sealing rings, fillers, piston rings, etc.;
Due to the large rigidity and regularity of the molecular chain of Dui Wei Ju, it is insoluble and difficult to process and shape on its own, requiring the addition of other materials for blending.
By blending Dui Wei Ju with polytetrafluoroethylene, piston rings, rubber tracks, sealing bushes, fillers, etc. have been made, which have been used in industries such as chemical industry, light industry, textiles, printing and dyeing, machinery, and have achieved good results.
(2) High temperature resistance: Burning "Ju" powder in a high temperature furnace starts to decompose at 520℃, with no melting point, and has slight weight loss when heated for a long time at 450℃, making it an engineering plastic that can be used for long periods below 400℃.
(3) Radiation resistance: Under cobalt (Co60) irradiation, it can withstand 9*10 6 Rads without changing performance.
(4) Chemical corrosion and solvent resistance: So far, no solvent has been found to dissolve "Ju", and strong acids such as hydrofluoric acid and strong alkalis cannot corrode it.
(5) Electrical performance: Volume resistivity of 1015 ohm-cm, under different polymerization conditions, it can also become an organic semiconductor with a volume resistivity of 1017 ohm-cm.
(6) Self-lubricating properties: It has good self-lubricating properties, far superior to molybdenum disulfide and graphite, or other filled polytetrafluoroethylene products.
