Because the composite geotextile uses geotextile as the base fabric, it not only has the functions of geotextile barrier, drainage, reinforcement, protection, etc., but also has the function of closure (anti-seepage), which can be widely used in many fields such as water conservancy, dam, road construction, airport, drainage, housing, environmental protection, etc. It mainly plays the role of anti-seepage, protection, reinforcement, etc. in the engineering.
We know that carbon black is a material that can absorb visible light completely and reflect ultraviolet light. If it is mixed into the composite geotextile, the energy transfer in its multi-core aromatic structure can show good ultraviolet absorption function. A large number of experiments have shown that the light shielding effect of carbon black is related to factors such as particle size, dispersibility, and dosage. Under normal conditions, the particle size of carbon black added to the composite geotextile is 25tun, and the mass fraction is 2% to 5%. When the amount of carbon black is very low, it cannot play its ultraviolet shielding function. Only when the mass fraction of carbon black reaches the above range, the composite geotextile has an anti-aging effect. When the mass fraction of added carbon black is 2%, the aging resistance of the geotextile can be improved by 20-30 times. However, if the mass fraction exceeds 5%, it will have a detrimental effect on the physical properties of the geotextile. Carbon black used as a light stabilizer is best with channel black, especially the effect of easily mixed channel black.
