Ubtech And Airbus Cooperate To Build Humanoid Robots For Aircraft Manufacturing
Recently, UBTECH announcedSigned a service agreement with European aviation manufacturing giant Airbus, which has purchased its latest industrial humanoid robot Walker S2 for deployment in its manufacturing plants. This marks the first time a humanoid robot has entered the production system of a top global aviation manufacturing enterprise.
According to the agreement, both parties will take this procurement and cooperation as a starting point to jointly explore and expand the specific applications of humanoid robots in complex and precise aerospace manufacturing scenarios.

This collaboration with Airbus marks another crucial milestone in UBTECH's global expansion of industrial humanoid robots. Following last year's strategic partnership with semiconductor giant Texas Instruments, UBTECH has successfully extended its humanoid robot solutions from industrial scenarios in China to five core sectors globally, including aerospace manufacturing, automotive manufacturing, 3C electronics, smart logistics, and semiconductor manufacturing.
Market data confirms its development momentum. By 2025, UBTECH's total order value for humanoid robots has exceeded 1.4 billion yuan, positioning it as a leader in the global market. To meet the rapidly growing demand, UBTECH is actively expanding its production capacity, with an estimated annual production capacity of 10,000 industrial humanoid robots by 2026.
While accelerating market expansion and production capacity layout, UBTECH has also been actively engaged in building industrial ecological infrastructure recently, demonstrating an all-round strategic advancement. Recently, UBTECH signed an agreement with Shenzhen Polytechnic University to jointly establish the nation's first industrial college for embodied intelligence at the vocational undergraduate level, aiming to precisely cultivate high-quality technical and skilled talents for future factories. In addition, UBTECH has reached a strategic cooperation with the National Robot Testing and Evaluation Center (Guangzhou). The two parties will jointly promote research on standards, quality testing, and reliability improvement for humanoid robot whole machines and core components, laying a solid quality foundation for the large-scale development of the industry.
This series of actions clearly indicates that UBTECH is accelerating the industrialization of humanoid robots through a dual-pronged strategy: "leading with high-end applications" and "solidifying industrial foundations." Collaborations with industry leaders like Airbus not only provide high-value validation scenarios but also demonstrate to the global market the practical potential of humanoid robots as a new quality productive force.
