Tesla Loses Control and Crashes into Parking Lot, Damaging Seven Vehicles Including Li Auto and Audi
On March 9, it was reported that a netizen revealed that today, multiple cars were hit at the parking lot under the Feiyunjiang Road overpass on Qiu Tao Road in Hangzhou, with the offending vehicle being a Tesla.
Footage from the scene shows multiple vehicles in the parking lot with severely damaged front ends. Four cars were pushed to one side and tilted, their hoods crushed together, while other vehicles were damaged by debris thrown into the air. Among the damaged vehicles were brands such as Audi, Li Auto, and Tesla.
The offending vehicle was a Tesla, and a parking lot staff member told the media that the accident occurred at 2:48 AM today.
Next to the parking lot entrance is a road; a Tesla crashed through the barrier gate from the road and into parked vehicles—reportedly possibly due to drowsy driving.
In the parking lot, a total of seven cars were damaged, five of which were directly hit, and two had their rear windshields broken by flying debris. Fortunately, there was no one in the parked cars at the time, and the driver who caused the accident was not injured.
It is understood that after the accident, the parking staff reported to the traffic management department, and the involved vehicle has been towed away. Contact has been made with the owner of the damaged vehicle and the insurance company, and an agreement has been made to negotiate the handling today morning.
