On the evening of February 16th, several companies and their related products were featured on the 2026 CCTV Spring Festival Gala. According to preliminary statistics, CCTV Spring Festival Gala announced over 20 partners, covering various fields such as intelligent transportation, artificial intelligence, robotics, and liquor.

In 2025, Unitree Robotics' robots became a sensation with the program "Yangbot" on CCTV's Spring Festival Gala; this year, Unitree Robotics, Magic Atoms, Galaxy General, and Songyan Dynamics robotics companies appeared on CCTV's 2026 Spring Festival Gala.

In an interview, Yu Lei, the chief director of the 2026 Spring Festival Gala, stated that the gala's programs will allow the audience to feel technology entering their lives and showcase the current era of scientific and technological innovation. Multiple humanoid robots will appear on the Spring Festival Gala stage in various forms, including language performances, song performances, martial arts performances, and micro-film performances. Multiple topics related to Spring Festival Gala robots have trended on social media.

According to SciTech Innovation Board Daily, during the first two hours of the Spring Festival Gala (February 16th, 20:00-22:00), the search volume for JD.com robots increased by over 300% compared to the previous period, customer service inquiries increased by 460%, and order volume increased by 150%. The new orders covered more than 100 cities across the country, ranging from first-tier cities to small counties.

At 10 PM on New Year's Eve, JD.com also launched a variety of robots, including the "Spring Festival Gala same style" robots. Within minutes of the launch, robots from brands such as Magic Atom, Unitree Robotics, and Songyan Power were sold out. Among them, two GALBOT General Robot G1s, each worth nearly 630,000 yuan, were also snapped up.

Robots were a highlight of this year's Spring Festival Gala, and the robot performance lineup was the largest in the Gala's history. It showcased not only the robots' precise motion control capabilities, but also their natural interaction abilities.

Songyan Dynamics' four humanoid robots appeared in the first skit of the Spring Festival Gala, "Grandma's Favorite," highlighting the emotional companionship value of robots as "family assistants" and the application potential of robots in elderly care scenarios. These robots are: One Bumi (red, shortest), two N2s (blue, yellow), and one modified E1 (purple, tallest).

The robots performed challenging backflips and cartwheels in the show, interacting with the actors to complete the interactive storyline.

The skit even brought him/her/them on stage at the end. 1:1 replica of Cai Ming's image in a bio-inspired humanoid robot According to reports, the Songyan Power Technology team first scanned the actor's face and completed 3D modeling to realistically restore the actor's skin texture and details. Then, 32 motor-driven actions were placed into the robot's face, including 12 motors in the bionic human's mouth to ensure frame-level synchronization between lip movements and speech. The team also installed 3 degrees of freedom in the bionic robot's neck. As a result, the robot can not only turn its head left and right, but also tilt its head, lean forward, and even make subtle movements such as a 45-degree upward gaze in coordination with the lines.

Unitree Robotics followed closely behind, with its subsidiary... Bionic humanoid robot H2 and general-purpose humanoid robot G1 Performed a martial arts routine in "Wu BOT" (H2 is in the center of the front row and G1 is in the back row in the first image below).

During the event, Unitree's G1 robot was the main performer, effortlessly executing difficult moves such as backflips, side flips, and horse stances. It engaged in "human-machine duels" with children from a martial arts school, practicing staff techniques and nunchaku, showcasing even more excellent athletic performance. Unitree founder Wang Xingxing told CCTV News that this year the robot completed interspersed formations and martial arts moves while running at high speed. This high-dynamic, highly-coordinated swarm control technology is a global debut. "This action is very practical and lays the groundwork for subsequent robot deployments in other swarm or single-robot scheduling scenarios."

Magic Atom's robot participates in the singing competition show "Made in the Future". Six high-dynamic bipedal humanoid robots MagicBot Z1 and two full-size general-purpose humanoid robots MagicBot Gen1 made their debut. In addition, the program also incorporates cutting-edge technology elements such as AI glasses, smartwatches, and drones into the song and dance performances.

The Galaxy General Robot appeared relatively late. In the Lunar New Year micro-movie "The Most Unforgettable Night," the wheeled, bipedal G1 made an appearance, showcasing the robot's application in household tasks such as folding clothes, handing objects, and simple cooking.

It is revealed that companies have invested extremely high marketing costs to get on the top-tier stage of the CCTV Spring Festival Gala. Apart from Unitree Technology, which is making its third appearance this year, all other brands are debuting on the show.

Multiple companies advance IPO plans.

Robot manufacturers are willing to spend heavily on appearances at the Spring Festival Gala in exchange for hundreds of millions of exposures, aiming to enhance brand visibility and value, and provide incentives for valuation and financing.

In terms of capital markets, the embodied AI industry is expected to see a wave of IPOs this year. Therefore, the Spring Festival Gala is also regarded by the market as a "super roadshow stage" for robotics companies.

Unitree Robotics has completed its IPO tutoring; Deep Robotics has initiated IPO tutoring and will submit the tutoring acceptance application from April to June; Leju Robotics has completed shareholding reform and is expected to complete IPO tutoring from March to June; Galaxy General and Songyan Power have completed shareholding reform. In addition, Astrobots, Zongqing Robotics, and Magical Atoms have all signaled IPO plans.

On the industry front, domestic industry shipments continue to increase significantly, and large orders are being secured successively. IDC data shows that global humanoid robot shipments reached nearly 18,000 units throughout the year, representing a year-on-year increase of approximately 508%, with sales revenue of approximately $440 million. During the same period, cumulative sales orders are projected to exceed 35,000 units, laying the foundation for subsequent deliveries and continued market expansion.

Unitree Robotics is projected to ship over 5,500 humanoid robots in 2025; Zhiyuan aims to ship over 5,100 units; UBTech's full-year 2025 humanoid robot orders are approaching 1.4 billion yuan. With the commissioning of UBTech's Liuzhou Robot Super Smart Factory, production capacity will reach 10,000 units in 2026. Leading domestic companies have entered the mass production stage.

However, the commercial application scenarios of humanoid robots are still relatively limited. A Soochow Securities research report points out that although the humanoid robot industry has seen a large number of orders, the downstream scenarios mainly come from government, data collection, and life service scenarios.

In 2026, the humanoid robot industry will reach a crucial point for commercialization. UBS Group's latest report indicates that humanoid robots are rapidly transitioning from proof-of-concept to industrial applications, with global demand projected to reach 30,000 units in 2026.

The Social Circle Behind Juejin Robot's "Spring Festival Gala Show"
