In terms of sales data, in the first half of 2025, JAC Motors sold 190,600 vehicles and chassis of various types, a year-on-year decrease of 7.54%. Among them, truck sales were 79,500 units, a year-on-year decrease of 2.38%; pickup truck sales were 32,900 units, a year-on-year increase of 15.00%; passenger car sales were 66,000 units, a year-on-year decrease of 16.12%.
Regarding the net profit loss, JAC Motors stated that it was mainly due to the increasingly complex international situation and the intensifying competition in overseas automobile markets, which led to a decline in export business. In addition, the company's high-end intelligent new energy passenger vehicle project is still in the capacity ramp-up phase and has not yet achieved economies of scale.
The Zunjie S800, a million-yuan luxury car jointly developed by Jianghuai and Huawei, is priced between 708,000 and 1,018,000 yuan and officially launched on May 30. Notably, 87 days after its launch, the Zunjie S800 achieved over 12,000 large orders, setting a new record for domestically-produced million-yuan luxury cars.

Behind the booming orders lies an astonishing investment. It is reported that to create this car, JAC Motors built a production base known as the "super factory," equipped with more than 1,800 intelligent robots.
In the first half of the year, JAC Motors has made substantial investments in R&D, driving technological innovation on all fronts.
The report shows that in the first half of 2025, JAC Motors' total R&D investment amounted to 2.216 billion yuan, an increase of 34.47% year-on-year, accounting for 11.44% of its operating income. The company is comprehensively advancing technological innovation, focusing on four major areas: vehicle integration, application layer development, key core technology development, and green low-carbon manufacturing.
Jianghuai Automobile is committed to the two major development paths of "independent development + open cooperation" and is accelerating its transformation towards intelligent new energy. It has now formed a mature pure electric technology platform, systematically mastering core technologies such as the three electric systems, energy recovery, electric and brake coupling, remote monitoring, and electromagnetic compatibility. The entire range of products has completed new energy deployment.
In the field of intelligent vehicles, JAC Motors actively promotes technological research and development in four major areas: intelligent architecture, intelligent driving, intelligent cockpit, and intelligent services. It has established the provincial innovation platform "Anhui Province Autonomous Driving Industry Innovation Center" and has devoted efforts to creating the "Anhui Province Key Laboratory of Intelligent Connected Vehicle Technology." By forming strong partnerships with tech giants like Huawei and CATL, JAC Motors continuously provides users with safer, more free, and more enjoyable mobility solutions.
