Project Background
The global plastic pollution management is becoming increasingly urgent, and traditional landfill and incineration methods are facing environmental pressure. Chemical recycling of plastics has become the focus of industry attention.
As a rapidly developing manufacturing country, Vietnam is facing increasing pressure in managing plastic waste. When selecting technology suppliers globally, the international group conducts a comprehensive assessment of the advancement, maturity, and stability of the technological equipment.
After comparing domestic and international enterprises in the same industry, it was ultimately decided to adopt Hengyu Environmental's "new generation large-scale industrial continuous intelligent waste plastic pyrolysis technology and complete equipment" for investment in building a high-end waste plastic chemical recycling plant in Vietnam.

Pyrolysis technology route
The factory uses a pyrolysis technology route to decompose waste plastics by heating them under anaerobic or low-oxygen conditions. Unlike mechanical recycling, chemical recycling can handle low-value, contaminated, and mixed waste plastics.
Hengyu Environmental Protection's technological core lies in its continuous intelligent control system and unique patented process. This technology can convert waste plastics into high-quality pyrolysis oil, which can be used to produce new plastic raw materials.
The factory has been running efficiently and continuously for several months, with all indicators of the cracking products meeting expectations, reflecting the safety, reliability, and environmental performance of the technical equipment.
Since the project was put into operation, it has achieved stable operation. The factory uses plastic waste from industrial production as raw material and converts it into pyrolysis oil through pyrolysis. This pyrolysis oil has been applied to the subsequent processing in the customer's own chemical plant, realizing a complete chemical recycling closed loop from "waste plastic to new plastic."
This model not only reduces dependence on fossil fuels but also significantly lowers carbon emissions. Currently, the project expansion preparation work has been basically completed. The application of this technology by Hengyu Environmental Protection is another achievement in the international high-end market following the Danish BASF plastic chemical recycling project.
Plastic chemical recycling has become a hot topic in the global environmental protection field, and pyrolysis technology provides an efficient and low-carbon disposal approach for the resource utilization of a large amount of low-value mixed plastic waste.
The successful operation of Hengyu Environmental Protection's project in Vietnam marks the recognition of China's high-end environmental protection equipment in the international market. With the completion of expansion preparation work and the planning for project replication in other regions, this technical model is expected to be promoted and applied in more areas.
