Zhongjing Petrochemical is a subsidiary of Zhongjing Petrochemical Group, which is primarily engaged in energy, petrochemicals, logistics, and packaging. It is the largest biaxially oriented polypropylene (BOPP) film manufacturer in China and operates the world's largest alkane integrated production base in Fuzhou Jiangyin Port Economic Zone. Two propane dehydrogenation units, each with an annual capacity of 1 million tons, both utilizing the CATOFIN process and Clariant's tailor-made catalyst technology, were successfully put into operation in May 2024 and May 2025, respectively. This has positioned the base among the global leaders in terms of single unit scale, individual plant output, and total production capacity.

Since commencement of production,Both units are running efficiently and smoothly, maintaining high on-stream rates and achieving stable operation at over 100% overload, fully demonstrating the excellent performance and high reliability of the CATOFIN catalyst.Currently, the first unit has successfully deployed the CLARITY™ digital service platform, enabling real-time transmission and analysis of operational data, and significantly improving the factory's digital management level. Deployment of the second unit is also progressing in an orderly manner.
