ExxonMobil Starts Up Third Advanced Recycling Unit at Baytown Complex
ExxonMobil announced on February 4th that its third advanced recycling unit at its Baytown, Texas production facility has officially begun operations. This milestone demonstrates the company's ongoing commitment to addressing plastic waste and advancing the circular economy.

With the facility coming online, the annual plastic waste processing capacity at the Baytown site has increased to approximately 250 million pounds. ExxonMobil stated that the company is advancing its capacity expansion as planned, with the goal of achieving a total global annual advanced recycling capacity of approximately 450 million pounds by the end of 2026.
