February 11th news, the "Implementation Rules for Qingdao City's Auto Trade-in Subsidies in 2026" were officially released recently. To ensure the balanced use of funds, the subsidy funds will be managed using a monthly quota system.

Specifically, individual consumers who scrap their old vehicles and purchase eligible new energy vehicles will receive a subsidy of 12% of the vehicle price, up to a maximum of 20,000 yuan; those who purchase eligible gasoline vehicles will receive a subsidy of 10% of the vehicle price, up to a maximum of 15,000 yuan.

Individual consumers who replace their old vehicles with new ones and purchase eligible new energy vehicles will receive a subsidy of 8% of the vehicle price, up to a maximum of 15,000 yuan; those who purchase eligible gasoline vehicles will receive a subsidy of 6% of the vehicle price, up to a maximum of 13,000 yuan.

For vehicle scrappage and replacement, individual consumers who scrap gasoline passenger vehicles registered before June 30, 2013, diesel and other fuel passenger vehicles registered before June 30, 2015, or new energy passenger vehicles registered before December 31, 2019, and then purchase new new energy passenger vehicles included in the national new energy vehicle tax exemption catalog, can apply for a subsidy of 12% of the new vehicle's sales price, up to a maximum of 20,000 yuan. On January 20th, the "Implementation Rules for Subsidies for Auto Trade-in in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in 2026" were released.
