Xpeng HT Announces Additional $200 Million in Equity Financing

Cheyun.com 2026-03-16 10:35:08

Recently, Xpeng Huatian completed a new round of equity financing worth nearly 200 million U.S. dollars, with well-known institutions such as Hillhouse Capital, Sequoia China, GaoRong Capital, and Dacheng Capital participating in the investment. Among them, Hillhouse Capital and Sequoia China continued to increase their investment after the A-round financing, demonstrating the high recognition of the capital market for Huatian's development prospects.

Following this round of financing, Huitian’s cumulative historical equity financing has reached approximately $1 billion, making it the Asian company with the highest total equity financing in the manned low-altitude flight sector.

As a core player in the low-altitude economy sector, Huitian is progressing smoothly across all its business lines, with production capacity already deployed ahead of the curve. The company has completed construction and commenced trial production in September 2025 at the world’s first mass-production facility for aircraft utilizing a modern assembly line. By introducing automotive industry-style assembly line methods into aircraft manufacturing, this factory provides robust resource support for the high-quality, large-scale delivery of Huitian’s flagship product, the “Land Aircraft Carrier,” and its subsequent series of aircraft.

On March 5th this year, the Xpeng Huitian Land Aircraft flying vehicle completed mass trial production and was officially launched from the Huitian flight car mass production factory. On the same day, multi-vehicle flight tests were also conducted. At the same time, the Guangzhou Haixinsha Full-Space Intelligent Experience Center (Haixinsha Tech Island), jointly established by Huitian, Guangzhou Chengtou Group, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Electronic Fifth Research Institute in a "1+1+N" model, officially launched joint exploration of low-altitude flight scenarios. This marked a key breakthrough from "production lines" to "real-world flight", and the "Guangzhou model" for the low-altitude economy was officially launched. A total of five Land Aircraft flying vehicles were produced and launched, participating in multi-vehicle flight tests, verifying Xpeng Huitian's large-scale manufacturing capabilities in the field of flying cars, and marking the transition of low-altitude mobility products from the research and verification stage to the preparation stage for commercial mass production.
