The 100,000-ton annual recycled plastic granules production project of Hubei Jingchuang Polymer Materials Co., Ltd., located in Qingji Industrial Park, Gong'an County, Jingzhou City, is scheduled to be completed byFully completed and put into commercial operation on July 19, 2026.This project, as a key industrial project for the high-value utilization of renewable resources in Central China, has a total investment of approximately 105 million yuan. Upon completion, it will establish an annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of recycled plastic pellets, 80 million plastic films, and woven bags.

I. Project Overview

Hubei Jingchuang Polymer Materials Co., Ltd. was established in 2021. It is a polymer materials enterprise integrating drawing, bag making, and recycling regeneration. This newly built industrial park project includes facilities such as a product testing center, intelligent production workshop, warehousing and logistics, and a research and development office building. The project primarily produces recycled plastic pellets made from PP, PE, and PET, providing eco-friendly packaging solutions for the food, chemical, agricultural, and other sectors.

The project is located in the core park of the national-level industrial transfer demonstration zone in Jingzhou, adjacent to the Golden Waterway of the Yangtze River and the interchange hub of the Shanghai-Chongqing and Erguang expressways, with convenient logistics conditions. The surrounding area is covered by a recycling network for agricultural films, packaging waste, and low-value urban plastic waste in the Jianghan Plain, providing a certain level of raw material supply security.

II. Construction Progress

According to the project schedule, the project officially commenced in the first quarter of 2025. As of now, civil construction has entered the final stage—the main structure of the testing building has been largely completed, and roof-sealing work is underway for the steel-structure workshop. The current construction priorities include civil works such as the main factory building structure, the raw material pretreatment workshop, the foundation for the intelligent sorting line, and the pipe rack for the granulation and purification system.

In parallel, domestic open bidding and technical coordination for key process equipment are also underway. The procurement scope covers fully automatic crushing and washing lines, intelligent infrared spectroscopy sorting machines, two-stage high-efficiency devolatilizing co-rotating twin-screw extruder units, vacuum deodorization systems, intelligent packaging and palletizing units, and full-process DCS control systems.

3. Technical and Environmental Indicators

According to the information disclosed by the project construction party, the project is expected to process approximately 120,000 tons of waste plastic raw materials annually after reaching production capacity. In terms of resource utilization and environmental protection, the project aims to achieve goals such as a comprehensive energy consumption that is 15% lower than the industry average, a wastewater reuse rate of over 90%, and a solid waste resource utilization rate of 98%.

Company technical lead Li Changhai stated that the project’s core competitiveness lies in its “closed-loop” and “green” features—that is, building a complete industrial chain closed loop from raw materials to finished products and then to recycling and reuse, while also using a photovoltaic power generation system to achieve self-sufficiency in green electricity.
