Located in Toluca, Mexico, the plant expansion involves a $143 million investment, increasing the annual recycling capacity of food-grade rPET resin from 50,000 tons to 86,000 tons. This achievement is equivalent to processing over 123,000 tons of PET materials annually—approximately 5.5 billion plastic bottles—which will be reintegrated into the Coca-Cola system's value chain.
