Mav Acquires Nuova Mini Plastic, Expands Production Capacity in Packaging Business

MAV Limited, wholly owned by Punto Pack S.p.A. – Benefit Corporation, has completed the acquisition of Nuova Mini Plastic S.r.l. located in San Colombano al Lambro, Province of Milan.100% equity acquisition。

Nuova Mini Plastic was founded in 1971 by Aurelio De Santo, specializing in extrusion and blow molding, and manufacturing products for the cosmetics, pharmaceutical, and food industries.Primary Packaging ProductThe company has a 6000 square meter production base and has obtained the UNI EN ISO 9001 quality management system certification.

The enterprise is equipped with a 500-kilowatt-peak photovoltaic power generation system and uses plant-based raw materials and post-consumer recycled plastics in its production process, consistently practicing green manufacturing.

Ponterpac Group is owned by Luca Marchetti and controlled by Nice Do, a holding company under entrepreneur Roberto Nesci. Multicargo Co., Ltd. was established concurrently with Pontopark and was officially integrated into the Group in 2024. It specializes in transportation, freight, and distribution logistics services, optimizing the distribution supply chain and delivering integrated, on-time logistics solutions to support the Group’s full range of business operations.

Printingpack Co., Ltd., established in 2012, was integrated into the group in 2024 and specializes in secondary packaging solutions for the food, pharmaceutical, and cosmetic industries. The company provides comprehensive supply chain services, covering graphic design, next-generation printing technologies, finished packaging production, and surface finishing of materials.

Europackaging Ltd. began operations in 1992 and joined the Group in 2025, serving as the Group's core platform for primary packaging distribution. With its professional trading capabilities, extensive regional coverage, and superior logistics location, it has become a long-term and reliable partner for key downstream customers.

Strengthen extrusion and blow molding production capacity

The group stated that this acquisition of Nuova Mini Plastic is part of its external expansion strategy, aimed atStrengthen extrusion and blow molding technology capabilities, complementing MAV’s existing injection molding and packaging decoration businesses. The integration of both parties will enrich the product portfolio and achieve synergies between industry and commerce.

The two companies possess highly complementary technologies: MAV excels in injection molding and packaging decoration, while Nuova Mini Plastic specializes in extrusion and blow molding. This integration will generate significant industrial and commercial synergies, further enhancing the Group’s overall supply capabilities to customers.

Business Integration and New Governance Structure

The Nuova Mini Plastic production base in San Colombano al Lambro will continue normal operations, and all existing employee labor relationships will be retained.
