CurTec USA Invests $10 Million For Expansion

CurTec USAIt is investing $10 million to expand its operations here, a project expected to create 10 new jobs and increase warehouse and production capacity.

The expansion will add approximately 27,300 square feet of space and more than 2,000 pallet positions, broadening the company’s packaging production capabilities in the United States. Groundbreaking is scheduled for October 2026, with completion expected in the second quarter of 2027.

Bart van Berkel, CEO of CurTec, stated that when they opened their Westminster facility in 2023, their goal was to get closer to North American customers and create a platform for growth. This expansion has strengthened the reliability of local production, inventory, and supply, while also expanding their manufacturing footprint in the United States.

New blow molding line

The new blow molding production line will significantly increase capacity and expand local production to include smaller packaging sizes. CurTec plans to produce 6-liter and 10-liter Click Pack pails in Westminster by the end of this year, followed by smaller wide-mouth drums in 2027.

Roy Kuipers, Operations Director at CurTec, stated that expanding production and warehousing capabilities enables us to meet customer demands with greater flexibility. This also allows us to locally produce a broader product portfolio.

Martin Lamar, Director of the U.S. site, stated that Westminster is designed for future growth. “We are currently expanding our capacity and capabilities while developing our local team.”
