#OurPlasticsJourney Carbon Exploration:
With performance, sustainability, and co-creation as pillars, covering the entire lifecycle from the initial stage of material design.
BASF’s exhibition theme, “#OurPlasticsJourney – The Carbon Quest,” encompasses the entire plastics lifecycle—from material design and manufacturing to use and circular processing—balancing performance, sustainability, and economic viability.
Since 2024, BASF's sustainable product portfolio has increased by approximately 30% to 60%, depending on specific product lines and customer requirements.
This model is realized through close technical collaboration, rapid prototyping, and sustainable design. At the same time, BASF continues to strengthen its investment in local production, R&D, and technical capabilities in Asia, thereby further accelerating the innovation process and getting closer to the needs of Chinese customers.
Visitors attending CHINAPLAS 2026 can also participate in BASF's concurrent events.
