The transaction overview shows that China Ordnance Equipment Group Co., Ltd. signed a spin-off agreement, under which the 50% equity in Jinan Qingqi Suzuki Motorcycle Co., Ltd. originally held by the Ordnance Equipment Group will be legally transferred to China Changan Automobile Group Co., Ltd. as an asset. After this transaction,China Chang'an and Suzuki Motor Corporation each hold 50% of the equity in Qingshi Suzuki.。
According to the official website of Qingqi Suzuki, the company is located in the Eastern New Area of Jinan High-tech Industrial Development Zone. Established in July 1994, it officially commenced production in July 1996. With a registered capital of USD 24 million, Qingqi Suzuki is a Sino-Japanese joint venture specializing in the manufacturing of mid-to-high-end motorcycles. Since its establishment, Qingqi Suzuki has introduced over a dozen classic motorcycle models to consumers, including the Suzuki King GS125, Super Man AN150, Storm Prince GZ125, Saichi FD110, Junchi GT125, Hanjun GR150, UU125, UY125, US125, and GIXXER150.
