2025 Power Battery TOP 15 Report: Only One Company Sees Over 1% Growth, Head Dominance Continues to Decline

Recently, the China Automotive Power Battery Innovation Alliance released the December 2025 monthly data on power batteries.

In December 2025, China's power and energy storage battery sales reached 199.3 GWh, representing a month-on-month increase of 11.1% and a year-on-year growth of 57.5%. Specifically, power battery sales totaled 143.8 GWh, accounting for 72.1% of total sales, with a month-on-month increase of 7.3% and a year-on-year growth of 49.2%. Energy storage battery sales reached 55.6 GWh, accounting for 27.9% of total sales, up 22.4% month-on-month and 84.0% year-on-year.

In 2025, China's cumulative sales of power and energy storage batteries reached 1700.5 GWh, a year-on-year increase of 63.6%. Among them, cumulative sales of power batteries were 1200.9 GWh, accounting for 70.6% of total sales, with a year-on-year increase of 51.8%; cumulative sales of energy storage batteries were 499.6 GWh, accounting for 29.4% of total sales, with a year-on-year increase of 101.3%.
