XPRESS BLOGG ( GUYANA ) is a balanced and informed Opinion Editorial style news magazine that delivers Frank and Fearless Perspectives on urgent sociopolitical issues, while keeping stride with the cultural and social factors that impact politics. STRATEGY Our strategy is to run parallel with the primary news organs but to make an objective interpretation of issues that may emanate from any section of government. The advantage of having such a pipeline is the opportunity to present information that is distinct from the mandatory spin of government and the bias of the news papers which are decidedly partisan in reporting, while providing an interactive forum for people to express their opinions on front page issues. In the end, this will generate real time feedback which could be used to measure the political temperature of opinions on matters impacting our country’s progress. WHY THIS FORMAT Blogging, because of its unpretentious and informal construct, has become one of the effective ways to engage and retain the interest of a rich cross section of people who want to get involved in the politics affecting their communities.
