A leading manufacturer of food, agriculture, industrial and animal nutrition products in Abeline, TX sought an all-inclusive employee area tailored to their existing facility. The client required a comprehensive employee area that included: Break room Men’s and women’s locker rooms with showers and toilets Training rooms A “quiet room” for praying Mother’s room Lobby Offices One of the client’s primary concerns was inclusivity. They wanted to ensure that the new space would meet the needs of all employees, regardless of gender or religion, creating an environment where everyone felt welcome and valued. Additionally, the integration of these facilities into the existing structure needed to be done without disrupting the plant’s operations or contaminating the production environment with dust. Fortunately, Dallas-based material handling equipment supplier W.W. Cannon ultimately provided an all-inclusive employee area that would allow every employee to feel that they were included and safe. Complete with HVAC, a modular electric package and cabling boxes (saving on costly trade installations), an Action Automatic Sprinkler Fire Suppression System and even plumbing for toilets and showers.
