Our Services and Flooring Options Laminate Floors Laminate allows your floor to be more water-resistant than solid wood, so you needn’t worry about the occasional spill. In the instance that your floor undergoes extensive damange, a quality laminate floor is affordable and easy to replace. Bamboo Floors Bamboo flooring is extremely durable, hard-wearing and is considered to have a similar strength to oak flooring. Engineered Oak Floors The defining characteristic of engineered wood flooring is that it is composed of different layers. Whilst solid hardwood flooring comes in solid planks, engineered wood flooring has a solid top layer, or veneer, and its subsequent layers are composite woods, usually laminated together. Each layer runs in different directions, which makes engineered wood flooring incredibly stable. The thickness of the top veneer generally denotes quality.
