Many of these cleaners use a degreasing formula. While the degreasing formula may do a good job of cleaning, ironically, with repeated use, it may actually strip the protective coatings that have been applied. You will get better protection at a lower cost! • Note: Curing time after using the Wayne’s Wax Multi-Layer Boat Wash on your boat is about 15 minutes depending on temperature and humidity. Due to the natural effects of water evaporation, your Wayne’s Wax representative will strongly recommend that you should not wash your boats directly in the sun between 11 am and 4 pm. And this caution is especially important for dark colored hulls/boats which should be washed before 11 am or after 4 pm or simply on the shaded side of the boat.
