Through the Generations... Watson’s Jewellers opened its doors in 1925 by Bob Watson and boasts family ownership spanning three generations. Robert (Bob) introduced his son Ray to the industry and it was in 1979 that Neil Watson started working in the business as an apprentice watch maker. The store moved from the Quadrant Mall to the current premises on the prime corner of Launceston's Central City. “In 1925, my Pop started a little watch and jewellery repair shop – with big dreams.
