Uv sterilization water filter The principle of UV water sterilization equipment is based on irradiating water with a very short wavelength (254 nm) spectrum of light. This spectrum is lethal to tiny micro-organisms, bacteria, and viruses. Exposure to light for at least 2 seconds destroys the DNA structure of microorganisms, which disrupts the natural ability of cells to develop and reproduce. By irradiating water with UV light, pathogens (harmful bacteria) are neutralized and are no longer able to cause infection and disease in humans because they are unable to reproduce once they enter the body. Turn on your faucet and let the water run for about 5 minutes. In this way, you ensure that possible production residues of the activated carbon are completely rinsed out.
