More information can be found at THERMO KING.EU. VTA Tehnika AS workshop VTA Tehnika AS has well-planned workshop premises with an area of ​​approx. 2400 m². The workshop has a total of 15 entrances, three of which pass through the entire building, i.e. can be driven through. One drive-through part is equipped with a special channel equipped with brake and axle stands and lifting jacks. There are also 3 lifting hoists for superstructure and installation work. There is a car and trailer wash. We can also carry out repairs and maintenance of cars and vans. As well as tire work for cars, vans, trucks, buses and trailers. Customers have access to a waiting room with TV and free WiFi. We have over 5000 m² of private parking for customers' machines. Our workshop is located in Tallinn, in the Lasnamäe district, on Tala street, which is easily accessible by transport from all main highways. VTA Tekniikka OY / VTA Tehnika AS history In 1959, the company V.Tunturi Autoliike OY, founded by Veikko Tunturi, started operating in Finland. From the beginning, they were engaged in the conversion of cars and trucks, the construction and maintenance and repair of trailers. From the beginning, they operated in Vaarala, near Vantaa, and activities continue in the same place to this day. The business premises have been expanded three times and today approximately 4000 m² of office and workshop space is in use. In the early 1980s, VTA was the first to develop the technology for installing and designing additional axles for trucks. Due to changes in road transport requirements, motor trains with a larger total mass were allowed on Finnish roads. The latter in turn created the need for the installation of additional axles. He then developed his own additional axle construction, which has continued to be installed to this day. In addition to the Finnish market, additional axles are installed in Sweden, Norway, Estonia and Switzerland. In 1986, the Motoral group bought the entire company together with its workers and place of business. As a result of belonging to the concern, activities were expanded in terms of imported products, and in the first half of the 1990s, a service network covering the whole of Finland was developed for the brands PALFINGER and THERMO KING. The company name also changed to VTA Tekniikka OY. In 1989, the company Aarno Järvinen OY, which operates in the city of Tampere, was purchased. The acquisition of the company ensured a stronger market position in the special superstructure and PALFINGER forest and special crane market segments. In 1991, they became the sole representative of THERMO KING products on the Finnish market. Personnel and cooperation partners were trained in the installation, maintenance and repair of these products. Today, they own over 65% of the market share in the mentioned product segment. In 1993, they became the sole representative of PALFINGER Group products on the Finnish market. Today, they hold a leading market position among lifting equipment installation and sales companies. In 1996, VTA Tehnika AS was founded and started operations in Tallinn, Estonia. Activities continue to this day in the same, expanded workshop and office spaces. In 2008, Truckservice OÜ was purchased, through which the range of general services offered was expanded in the maintenance and repair of heavy transport for buses, trailers and trucks. In 2013, the companies Truckservice OÜ and VTA Tehnika AS in Estonia were merged. The merger improved the quality of services offered and customer service. In 2015, the workshop, employees and processes were certified to meet THERMO KING dealer standards. We obtained the highest THERMO KING SertiTech dealer compliance certificate for maintenance, repair, warranty handling and sales.
