Our History Vortex Engineering was founded in 1988 in Auckland in response to the need for a high-quality dust and fume extraction company in New Zealand. Initially a consulting only business, market demand in New Zealand prompted Vortex to expand into turnkey project solutions provider. As Vortex grew, it developed strong relationships with numerous customers and industry contacts, becoming a key member of APCEMA and contributing significantly to the advancement of the industry. Vortex’s unwavering commitment to providing well-engineered solutions has enabled the company to extend its reach into the international market and lead in various air pollution control technologies. Our Group The Vortex Engineering Group comprises several skilled companies dedicated to the common goal of providing world leading air pollution control, water management and renewable energy solutions. Over its 30+ years in business, Vortex Engineering Group has grown from a 5-person team to a staff of over 140. With offices in New Zealand and Australia, we have the flexibility and network across New Zealand and Australia to provide comprehensive solutions across both countries and internationally.
