Based in Leicestershire, we have been collecting and restoring Bakelite telephones for over 30 years. We have degrees in Art and Design subjects and have always had an interest in classic 20th century design. There are few items that encapsulate the peak of design and manufacturing excellence better than the iconic British Bakelite telephone. So, after a long and successful career in jobs our mothers would be proud of, we decided to put our expertise and experience to good use and create ‘Vintage Telephony’. Restoring a Bakelite telephone not only returns it to its original beauty but preserves it for the future.
