I created this blog to share my investment ideas with those who wish to build a solid financial asset over the long term from the simple idea of buying shares in companies for less than they are worth.

An approach inspired by the greatest
Inspired by the best investors such as Warren Buffett and Benjamin Graham, the approach of buying for less than it is worth or value investing has proven itself over time. If you believe that a successful investment is the result of a robust methodology leaving little room for chance and applied rigorously, then you are in the right place.
"Be fearful when others are greedy and greedy when others are fearful" ‧ Warrent Buffett
Be contrarian
The myth of "taking more risks to win more" is hard to die, while by definition a risky investment is one that can ruin you. Going against the crowd and investing in companies temporarily abandoned by the market is both low risk and rewarding.
"Price is what you pay; value is what you get" ‧ Benjamin Graham
Invest with a margin of safety
Benjamin Graham invented the margin of safety, a precept that helps reduce the risk of losing money by buying shares in companies for less than they are worth. He paved the way in the 1930s for the deep value approach by investing in the "net-nets", those famous companies that are trading below their current net assets.
"The single greatest edge an investor can have is a long-term orientation" ‧ Seth Klarman
Let time do its work
The short-term investor is exposed to the brutal whims of the market. The long-term investor capitalizes on the value creation of the companies in which he invests. Sooner or later, the market will recognize this value creation, and it will adjust its offer accordingly.
