Michael Staunton B.Tech. C.Eng. MIEI Company founder Michael Staunton has a primary degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Limerick. He is a professional Chartered Engineer for over 25 years, and was recently awarded a Masters of Philosophy by UL in recognition of him being a founding student of the University. Since graduation, he has worked in manufacturing, design, commissioning and technical services at the highest levels in the steel, gas and energy sectors. In 2002 Michael founded ValCo Engineering and to this day oversees the company activities throughout Ireland. In recent years Michael has also developed markets for Valco Supplier partners in the UK and other mainland Europe countries.
