The UPP Group was founded in 2001 by Duncan Keil, a master plumber with more than 35 years’ experience and a great passion for the plumbing industry, youth empowerment and community development. The business was developed with the intent of growing the plumbing industry through empowerment, skills development, collaboration with seasoned water technology experts, as well as forming partnerships with key industry, compliance and technology leaders, to help create a professional standard in South Africa. In 2018, we changed the name of the business to UPP Group (Pty) Ltd as a result of our expansion and renewed focus on becoming Water Solution Specialists. What started as mainly residential and construction-related work had evolved to the point where we were able to offer our clients so much more than traditional plumbing-related services. UPP Group (Pty) Ltd is a proudly 100% women-owned, BBBEE Level 2 business. We use only SABS-compliant products and are registered with the PIRB (Plumbing Industry Registration Board) and IOPSA (Institute of Plumbing South Africa).
