Advantages
(1) Light transmittance: The light transmittance of solid sheets can reach 89%, comparable to glass. UV-coated sheets do not yellow, haze, or lose transparency under sunlight; after ten years, the loss of transparency is only 10%, whereas PVC has a loss rate of 15%–20%, and fiberglass is 12%–20%.
(2) Impact resistance: The impact strength is 250-300 times that of ordinary glass, 30 times that of acrylic sheets of the same thickness, and 2-20 times that of tempered glass. Even when dropped two meters with a 3 kg hammer, there are no cracks, earning it the reputation of "shatterproof glass" and "sound steel."
(3) UV protection: One side of the PC sheet is co-extruded with UV-resistant (UV) coating, while the other side has anti-condensation treatment, combining UV resistance, heat insulation, and anti-fog functions. It can block ultraviolet rays, making it suitable for protecting valuable artworks and exhibits from UV damage.
(4) Lightweight: The specific gravity is only half that of glass, saving costs on transportation, handling, installation, and support frames.
