1. The temperature of each section of the barrel increases gradually from the feeding section to the connection between the barrel and the forming mold.
2. The forming mold temperature is slightly higher than the barrel temperature, typically controlled within 5-10°C higher. The temperatures at both ends of the mold should be slightly higher than the middle part, also controlled within 5-10°C higher.
3. For the sheet entry method, the middle roller of the three rollers should be aligned horizontally with the lower surface of the mold lip; the end face of the lip should be parallel to the centerline of the middle roller, maintaining a distance of 50~100mm.
4. The mold lip gap should be slightly less than or equal to the thickness of the board product, with the middle gap being slightly smaller than the side gaps.
5. The roughness R of the working surfaces of the three rollers should not exceed 0.2 μm. When cleaning the roller surfaces, hard steel knives should not be used; instead, copper knives should be used to remove residual material.
6. The rollers should have some central height; the gap between the three rollers should be equal to or slightly greater than the thickness of the board.
7. The temperature control of the forming mold must be stable. Higher temperatures increase the flow rate of the melt inside the mold, while lower temperatures decrease it. Unstable melt flow rates can cause significant longitudinal thickness variations in the board (sheet) products.
8. Pay attention to controlling the working surface temperatures of the three rollers, with the feed roller temperature slightly higher and the discharge roller temperature slightly lower. Higher roller surface temperatures make it difficult for the board blank to separate from the rollers and can cause crosswise patterns on the product surface; lower temperatures result in dull surfaces. Adjust the roller surface temperatures as needed based on these observations.
Maintenance and Care for the XTB Series Lithium Battery Twin-Screw Extrusion Host:
1. During use, if the material temperature does not reach the set temperature for startup or the insulation time does not meet the standard, the screw must not be started or operated under any circumstances.
2. In case of abnormal sounds during normal operation or when an anomaly occurs, immediately stop the equipment and promptly report to relevant personnel so that professional maintenance staff can handle the issue as soon as possible.
3. Even with correct operation, vigilance cannot be relaxed. Safety during the production process must always be a priority. Necessary firefighting equipment should be placed near equipment using heat transfer oil.
