Brief Description:The automatic twin-screw extrusion main unit is a new type of thermosetting molding plastic, used in transportation, construction, and electrical applications. The BMSJ sheet machine is a production equipment for unsaturated polyester fiberglass reinforced composite materials, which incorporates a thickener, filler, release agent, curing agent, and other components into a polyester resin, impregnates fiberglass yarn, and covers both sides with a film to form a sandwich structure.

  Automatic twin-screw extruder main unitIt is mainly composed of two major parts: the transmission part and the extrusion part.
 
1. The transmission part provides torque for the screw, and a strong torque output is the guarantee of the efficient operation of the twin-screw extruder; the extrusion part is mainly composed of the barrel, screw elements, and core shaft, where the material completes plasticization, mixing, and extrusion.
 
All of its technological advancements are also concentrated in these two parts, constituting the hallmark of the updates and iterations of twin-screw extruders.
 
Compared to other models, one of its major features is the difference in the transmission system. It requires evenly distributing power to two screws within a confined space, which is known as torque distribution technology. Different torque distribution technologies determine the load capacity of the gearbox and even directly affect the lifespan and performance of the entire machine.
 
The extrusion section is mainly composed of the barrel, screw elements, and core shaft, serving as the functional area for plasticization and mixing in a twin-screw extruder. The screw clearance, volume ratio, rotational speed, core shaft strength, and the lifespan of the screw elements are key indicators for evaluating the performance of the extrusion section of a twin-screw extruder.
 
  Precautions for use:
 
The temperatures of each section on the plastic sheet production equipment barrel gradually increase from the feeding section to the point where the barrel connects with the forming mold.
 
2. The mold temperature is slightly higher than the barrel temperature, with a difference of 5-10°C. The temperatures at both ends of the mold are slightly higher than the temperature in the middle, also with a difference of 5-10°C.
 
3. For the entry of the sheet, the top surface of the middle roller among the three rollers should be on the same horizontal plane as the lower flat surface of the die lip; the end face of the die lip should be parallel to the centerline of the middle roller, with a distance of 50~100mm.
 
4. The die lip gap should be slightly less than or equal to the thickness of the sheet product, with the center gap of the die lip being slightly smaller than the gaps at both ends.
 
5. Note that the surface roughness R of the three rolls should not exceed 0.2 μm. When cleaning the roll surface, do not use a hard steel blade to scrape it; instead, use a copper knife to remove any residue.
 
6. The roller surface should have some medium height; the gap between the three rollers should be equal to or slightly greater than the thickness of the plate.
 
7. The temperature of the molding die must be stable. When the temperature is high, the flow rate of the molten material in the mold increases; when the temperature is low, the flow rate of the molten material in the mold decreases. An unstable flow rate of the molten material can lead to significant longitudinal thickness variations in the sheet (plate) products.
 
8. Pay attention to controlling the working surface temperature of the three rolls, with the inlet roll being slightly warmer and the outlet roll slightly cooler. If the roll surface temperature is too high, the sheet will not easily detach from the roll, and horizontal lines may appear on the product surface; if the temperature is too low, the product surface will lack luster. Based on these phenomena, the roll surface temperature should be adjusted in a timely manner.
 
  Automatic twin-screw extruder main unitMaintenance and Care:
 
1. When in use, if the material temperature does not reach the set temperature at startup and the holding time does not meet the standard, the screw must not be started or operated; this is something we must pay attention to.
 
2. In the event of any unusual noise from the equipment during normal use or in case of abnormalities, it is necessary to immediately stop the operation of the equipment and promptly report to the relevant personnel, so that professional maintenance staff can be arranged to handle the situation as soon as possible.
 
3. Even with correct operation, we must not let our guard down. We must always pay attention to safety during the production process. Necessary fire-fighting equipment should be placed near the equipment using heat transfer oil.
