WRN, WRN-140 Non-fixed Device Thermocouple 1. Industry Applications: Typically used in conjunction with display instruments, recording instruments, electronic computers, etc. It directly measures the temperature of liquids, steam, and gases, as well as solid surfaces in the production site where hydrocarbons and other substances are present, within the range of 0 to 1300 °C. 2. Working Principle: The explosion-proof thermocouple utilizes the principle of gap explosion-proof design, employing sufficiently strong components such as junction boxes to seal all parts that may generate sparks, arcs, and hazardous temperatures inside the junction box cavity. In the event of an explosion within the cavity, the fire can be extinguished and cooled through the gap at the joint surface, preventing flames and temperature from reaching the outside of the cavity, thereby achieving explosion-proof protection. 3. Normal temperature insulation resistance: The thermocouple should be tested under environmental conditions of 20 ± 15 °C and relative humidity not exceeding 80%, with a test voltage of 500 ± 50V (DC). The insulation resistance between the electrode and the outer sheath should be ≥1000 MΩ·m.
