772-1 Water Quality Automatic Sampler I. Overview In the monitoring of environmental pollution and the investigation of water body pollution, it is essential to accurately reflect the status of water quality pollution. Representative water samples must be collected. Especially under the current circumstances of improving environmental management through legislation and economic means, the methods for collecting representative water samples and their accuracy have become increasingly important. However, the quality and quantity of wastewater discharged by factories often vary significantly over short periods, and domestic sewage changes with people's living habits and seasonal variations, making the overall pollution situation of water bodies and rivers quite complex. Traditionally, our sampling tools have relied on outdated manual operations, which involve significant workload and poor accuracy. The 772-type water quality automatic sampler is specifically designed for use with the four common types of flow measurement weirs in drainage engineering, equipped with flow function containers and electronic instruments to collect representative water samples. This instrument can be used for water quality sampling at factory wastewater discharge outlets, fixed water quality monitoring points in rivers, and serves as an advanced sampling and measuring tool. II. Instrument Structure The 778-type water quality automatic sampler mainly consists of the following components: (1) Sampling Controller: Installed indoors, primarily for setting sampling times and tasks. (2) Support Frame, Support Rod, Sampling Motor: Installed at the outdoor water collection point. III. Usage Method (1) Assemble the support frame and support rod at the outdoor water sampling point, and then install the sampling motor on the support rod, adjusting the motor's position according to the water surface height (Note: The sampling motor should not be fully submerged, only the lower part below the disk can be submerged). (2) Connect the sampling water pipe from the sampling outlet to a water bottle in the laboratory. (3) Connect the power line of the sampling motor to the indoor main unit of the sampler. (4) Switch on the main unit's power, set the sampling time, and it will begin working. (5) The steps for setting the sampling time are detailed below. IV. Setting Sampling Time: Utilizing imported single-chip integrated circuit design, the peripheral circuit is simple, with low power consumption and high reliability. It allows for the setting of up to 40 sampling times per day with three sampling options, and the duration of sampling can be set freely. Two days can be designated as rest days within a week, automatically stopping sampling. The instrument is equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery that automatically trickle charges, eliminating the hassle of battery replacement. It features a rapid simulation function; using a high-frequency crystal oscillator, it provides precise timing, making it one of the most advanced fully automatic timing instruments available today.
