After turning on the switch, a period of preheating is required before starting the lubricating oil pump and other switches.
2. If the main unit is operating normally and it is possible to start adding material, the operator must ensure that there are no impurities in the material while filling, and also control the temperature properly.
3. If the material does not form strips and sticks to the die head when the underwater pelletizer is started, it is due to the die head temperature being too high. Wait for it to cool slightly, and it will return to normal. In most cases, there is no need to stop the machine.
4. The water temperature should be controlled between 50-60℃. A temperature that is too low can cause cracking, while a temperature that is too high can lead to adhesion. When starting the machine, add half hot water. Once the water temperature exceeds 60℃, circulating water must be added to prevent the temperature from becoming too high. The circulating water should be softened or distilled water.
5. During the operation of the machine, it is prohibited to use metal objects to adjust the material at the opening of the barrel.
6. The strands must be evenly pulled before being fed into the pelletizer, otherwise it will damage the machine. If material is rapidly expelled from the vent hole, it indicates that impurities have clogged the filter screen, and at this point, the machine must be stopped immediately to replace the screen.
7. The heating temperature depends on the softening point and melting temperature of the resin; the higher the melting point, the higher the required heating temperature. The temperature requirement should be 5 degrees Celsius above the melting point.
Common Causes of Malfunctions in Underwater Plastic Auto Pelletizers
In underwater pelletizing units, the reasons for the disengagement of the friction clutch and the interlock shutdown of the unit during operation can be categorized into four major types:
Main motor system failure
1. The main motor torque is too high or too low;
2. The main motor speed is too low;
3. The main motor bearing temperature is too high;
4. The main motor winding temperature is too high;
5. The inlet and outlet temperatures of the main motor water cooler are too high;
6. The flow rate at the outlet of the main motor bearing lubricating oil pump is too low;
7. The pressure at the outlet of the main motor bearing lubricating oil pump is too low;
8. The water leakage from the main motor water cooler is too high.
Transmission system failure
1. Gearbox shift lever position deviation;
2. Excessive instrument air pressure for the friction clutch;
3. Excessive speed differential of the friction clutch;
4. Low outlet pressure of the gearbox lubricating oil pump;
5. High outlet oil temperature of the gearbox lubricating oil pump;
6. Internal failure of the friction clutch, etc.

1. The melt pressure before and after the throttle valve is too high;
