  PP Acid Mist Washing Absorption Tower

  1. Equipment Introduction: PP acid mist purification device is a high-efficiency, energy-saving and practical environmental protection equipment designed and manufactured by our factory after years of research, continuous improvement and innovation. It is suitable for acid pickling processes of various materials, purifying water-soluble gases such as acid mist (H2S04), hydrogen chloride (HCL) gas, hydrogen fluoride (HF) gas, chromium trioxide mist (CrO3), hydrogen cyanide (HCN) gas, hydrogen sulfide (H2S), ammonia (NH3), and alkaline steam, with a purification rate of over 95%.

  This acid mist purification tower adopts primary bubbling and primary (or secondary) spray treatment. The shell is made of polypropylene, and the main body is equipped with pressure bubbling pipes, wire mesh foam traps, and sieve plate spray nozzles, as well as packing layers for sufficient gas-liquid contact. The purified acid mist exhaust gas is significantly lower than the national emission standards, and the equipment is easy to operate, install and maintain, with high strength, long service life, and small footprint. It is the ideal high-concentration and high-temperature acid-alkali purification equipment. Processing and emitting gases comply with the "Comprehensive Emission Standards for Air Pollutants (GB16297-1996)".

  2. Structure

  This acid mist purification tower is made of circular tower body segments connected by flanges made of polyvinyl chloride material. The specific structure consists of an inlet section, pressure chamber, bubbling liquid storage tank, two-stage spray section, cyclone plate, exhaust cone cap, air duct, wind pipe, liquid flow meter, liquid level gauge, pressure detection port, acid seal tester, etc. The tower has the advantages of high efficiency, strong corrosion resistance, high strength, low noise, low power consumption, small size, easy disassembly and maintenance, lightweight and durable, and elegant appearance.

  3. Working Principle and Process Flow

  The acid mist purification tower uses a solution as the absorption neutralization liquid to purify acid mist exhaust gas. The acid mist exhaust gas is pressurized by a fan into the inner cylinder of the purification tower to form a pressure chamber, and then evenly distributed to each bubbling pipe in the pressure chamber. The exhaust gas enters the liquid storage tank and generates bubbles in the absorption neutralization liquid, allowing the gas and liquid to fully contact. Then, it flows upwards to the filter layer and reacts with the neutralization liquid sprayed by the spray nozzle. The absorbed exhaust gas continues to flow upwards to the second filter layer, contacts with the neutralization liquid sprayed by the second-stage spray nozzle, undergoes neutralization reaction again, and then passes through the cyclone plate, the wind cap, and the exhaust pipe or fan to be discharged into the atmosphere.

  This tower is equipped with a fiberglass centrifugal fan and corrosion-resistant acid-resistant pump.

  When the processing air volume is above 10,000 cubic meters, two pumps can meet the design requirements.

  When the acid mist temperature is high, a condenser is installed at the mist inlet to reduce acid loss and lower the acid mist concentration.
