**Characteristics of PC Sheets:**
a. **Mechanical Properties**
1) Impact Strength: The impact performance of professional PC solid sheets used in vacuum forming is 250 times higher than that of traditional glass and 30 times higher than that of acrylic sheets. PC solid sheets are known as "transparent steel plates."
2) Good Tensile Strength: The tensile strength of professional PC solid sheets has excellent heat resistance, reaching 350 kgf/cm² even at 120°C.
3) Bending Strength: The bending resistance of professional PC solid sheets is good; they do not crack even when bent at a 90° angle.
b. **Thermal Properties**
1) Melting Temperature: The melting temperature of PC solid sheets is 135°C, with a continuous use temperature of up to 120°C.
2) Linear Expansion Coefficient: The linear expansion coefficient is 7×10^-5 cm/cm/°C, which is relatively small among plastics.
3) Brittleness Temperature: The brittleness temperature of PC solid sheets is -40°C, with a minimum continuous use temperature of -30°C, which is incomparable to ordinary plastics.
4) Combustibility: PC solid sheets belong to a category of flame retardant and self-extinguishing plastics, and they do not produce toxic gases when heated at high temperatures. ULR-94 certified, flame retardant B1 grade, no dripping, non-toxic gas.
5) Thermal Conductivity: The thermal conductivity of PC solid sheets is not much different from that of general plastics, being 1/4 that of glass, 1/300 that of iron, 1/1000 that of aluminum, and 1/2000 that of copper, making it one of the materials with excellent thermal insulation properties.
