These terms refer to PMMA material sheets that have been electroplated, replacing glass lenses with plastic ones. They are lightweight, not easily broken, easy to process and color, and have been increasingly popular, becoming a significant technology in lens production. Acrylic is suitable for secondary processing, such as mechanical processing, thermoplastic forming, blow molding, vacuum forming, solvent bonding, heat stamping, silk screen printing, and after vacuum plating, we refer to them as acrylic lenses.
