Steel-reinforced polyethylene (PE) corrugated pipe is manufactured using steel-plastic composite profile strips that are spirally wound and welded (with extrusion welding on the overlap surfaces). This pipe features high ring stiffness, a smooth inner surface, and diameters ranging from DN200 to DN3000mm. The pipe material is corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and easy to install.
The steel-reinforced PE corrugated pipe production line adopts a modular design, making equipment operation simpler. It uses PLC intelligent control for stable performance. A unique steel-plastic composite technology has been developed, allowing simultaneous production of the profile strip and pipe in one process. The steel strip is fully integrated into HDPE without bubbles or delamination, ensuring resistance to corrosion from other media. Two production lines can cover the full range of pipe diameters from DN200 to DN3000.
The complete set of polyethylene steel-reinforced corrugated pipe production equipment consists of a steel-plastic composite profile strip production line and a pipe winding production line. The steel-plastic composite profile strip production line includes a steel strip unwinding machine, welder, straightener, high-frequency heating unit, single-screw extruder, profile strip operation control cabinet, profile strip extrusion die, profile strip forming die, forming mold, and traction machine. The winding production line includes a pipe operation control cabinet, welding rod extruder, hot air gun heater, strip feeder, winding cage, pipe cutting saw, and pipe conveyor.
