1. Chemical resistance: not contaminated, not corroded by wastewater and chemicals, not corroded by decaying substances in soil.

Circumferential stiffness: Due to the elastic modulus ratio of steel and plastic materials greater than 200, and weight ratio greater than 7.85, compared with pure plastic pipes, steel strip reinforcement easily provides the pipe (especially large diameter pipes) with sufficient circumferential stiffness and relatively high stiffness-to-weight ratio.
